Confirm your access, the enabled capabilities and the relevant plan or provider requirements. Use a test environment for tasks that could change live records.
Understand the order#
Inspect items, customer information, destination and payment state. Distinguish an ordinary paid order from an unpaid or cash-on-delivery order.
Confirm readiness#
Check item availability and assign the appropriate location, seller or team. Resolve incomplete information before committing goods to a delivery process.
Prepare the handoff#
Pack the right items and pass the necessary delivery and collection information to the responsible party. Review partial or multi-vendor fulfillment if relevant.
Follow the exception#
Define what happens after a failed delivery, an unavailable item or a customer cancellation. The customer-facing response and the operational correction should describe the same outcome.
Close the loop#
Inspect delivery, payment or cash collection, and the customer record. If a return follows, preserve the link to the original order and its financial consequences.
