Confirm your access, the enabled capabilities and the relevant plan or provider requirements. Use a test environment for tasks that could change live records.
Inventory your dependencies#
List catalogue, customers, historic orders, content, domains, payment providers, delivery services and integrations. Identify which systems must remain available during the move.
Agree the mapping#
Match source fields to supported target records. Check product options, price precision, customer identity and the meaning of historical statuses.
Run a sample rehearsal#
Move a representative sample and inspect it in the customer and operator journeys. Check rejected records and missing media as well as successful imports.
Prepare the cutover#
Define stock reconciliation, URL mapping, the last source update and the first live transaction. Name the owner of each task and the criteria for delaying the switch.
Inspect the first live period#
Watch orders, payments, stock and delivery handoffs. Reconcile the initial activity and keep an explicit recovery or rollback decision process.

The normal journey and the relevant exception paths have been checked, ownership is clear and the result can be inspected by your team.
